Deputy Head of Retail Banking Department – Head Office

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Building business plan/ budget plan

  • Join in building and deploy assigned business plan of RBD for a period of time.
  • Support in building and deploying product policies/ programs to stimulate business activities of retail banking as assigned.
  • Support to build, deploy, support, manage, supervise the implementation of business plan at branches to reach target of IVB over a period of time as assigned.

2. Assist RBD Head in managing and performing assigned task list

  1. Product development
  • Build annual plan for developing products of retail banking and monitor the implementation of periodically reviewing business deployment efficiency.
  • Build products applicable to customers’ need.
  • Build fee tariff, interest rate for products and services of retail banking within management scope.
  • Organize trainings about retail banking products and services for all branches.
  • Be responsible for the efficiency of products and services and proposing appropriate solutions if needed
  1. Business stimulation and partnership development
  • Build programs, policies to stimulate business activities of retail banking, build  promotion, customer care policies for each group of customers over a period of time for the nation-wide IVB.
  • Deploy cooperation program with partners for developing RB business.
  1. Support branches, deploy sales stimulation and skill training for sales of all branches
  • Coordinate with business units to approach customers following product sales plan and sales promotion.
  • Organize and deploy skill training for sales staffs all over IVB.
  1. Business management
  • Monitor sales volume, sales reports on a monthly/ quarterly/ yearly basis.
  • Manage & approved  credit, guantee & other realated transactions according to decentralization/authorization of BOEs/ RBD Head / Division Head  in compliance with provisions of IVB and the law.
  • Supervise the implementation of RB business plan in overall and by branches. Analyze business efficiency by products/ customer groups/ regions/ branches/ nation-wide. Propose solutions to increase business productivity.
  • Support and coordinate with branches to implement and deploy business plan by month/ quarter/ year.
  • Coordinate with other/ related departments to build KPIs for RB sales managers, sales staffs. Periodically measure KPIs by quarter/ year and report to Division Head/ BOEs.
  1. Supervise staff
  • Support in assigning KPIs for each staff of RBD .
  • Manage, allocate, propose for arrangement of staffs properly and efficiently regarding to their professional competence and job requirements.
  • Instruct staff, build and deploy training and coaching plan for RBD staff.
  1. Others
  • Perform other tasks assigned by Division Head/ RBD Head

JOB REQUIREMENT

1. Knowledge, professional experience

  • Bachelor/ Master from university with major in banking, finance, commerce, economics or relevant major.
  • Experiences: At least 5 years in product development, business management and at least 3  years at management position from the level of team leader.
  • Wide acknowledge of market and banking products.
  • Ability of developing products, business implementation and promotion

  • English fluency is preferable

3. Other requirements

  • Similar to KPI of RBD, plus indicator of staff management (KPIs in accordance with IVB at a period of time)
